Pros

The company really compensates you well. Residents are a joy to work with.

Cons

They hire just about anybody. Management sucks ...they are all about politics. Liars and never keep there word... the so called values they go by are mediocre. I wouldn't work her agian.

Thank you for your feedback. While we strive to identify associates who share our passion of providing high quality care to seniors, we understand that the demanding nature of this profession is not for everyone. Because you did not share your location we cannot pass along your feedback to the local administrator, but we encourage you to share concerns about associate compliance with your residence director or through the Associate Link. The Associate Link line allows residents and associates to voice concerns in an anonymous format for executive team review. We will look into your comments and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Pros

The residents are the pros. I enjoy taking care of them and making them happy.

Cons

Expecting a 5 star hospitality experience with instantaneous response times for every resident. Management does not help when there are staffing shortages. They won’t help answer call bells or assist in the kitchen. Legend wants to run the shift with the bare minimums for staff to resident ratios. Having to be an aide changing soiled briefs to then passing meals in the dining room is insanitary. They want you to do extra work but don’t want to pay overtime. Your shift is for 8 hours minus 30 minutes for an unpaid meal break that you must take. So you never get a 40 hour work week pay, only 37.5.
