Pros

Working in the blended case management department was a wonderful experience. Heather is an outstanding director, and the experience you gain in the field is unmatched. LVF is unlike other agencies, as its executive staff consists of personable, caring, and thoughtful individuals who make you, the agency, and your clients a priority. The department has such camaraderie, and you grow to lean on and love your coworkers. Being a BCM means you play a priceless role in clients' lives, and you get to see the impact you make as your partnership goes on. I cannot say enough good things about the BCM department and the experience it has given me and my career!

Cons

Without organization, time management, and a good work-life balance, this position can feel heavy at times. If you lack empathy and compassion, this job may not be for you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your 3 years of dedicated service in our Blended Case Management department. We’re truly grateful for your thoughtful feedback. We’re delighted to hear that your time with the BCM team was meaningful and that you felt supported by your colleagues, leadership, and especially by Heather. The camaraderie within the department and the impact our BCMs make in the community are things we’re deeply proud of and it’s wonderful to know that this work contributed positively to your professional growth and career path. We also appreciate your honest note about the challenges of the role. Case management can be demanding, and strong organizational skills, time management, and self‑care are essential for maintaining balance. We remain committed to providing staff with the resources, training, and support they need to navigate these aspects successfully. Thank you again for your contributions to LVF and for sharing such thoughtful insight.

Pros

Many frontline staff members clearly want to help patients and do the best they can with the resources and leadership they are given.

Cons

Communication throughout the organization was terrible. Staff often could not get answers from management, departments operated in disorganized silos, and problems that directly affected patient care routinely went unresolved. Meanwhile leadership seemed far more concerned with appearances, expansion, and maintaining funding.
