Pros

Working alone 24/7 Anthem BCBS insurance

Cons

Predatory business and billing practices, insane favoritism, their “handbook” is cherry picked and only applies when they deem fit. Completely unorganized and frantic 24/7, discouraged to optimize messy workflows and priorities, inexperienced colleagues and management, zero support—you need to find the answer yourself for everything since there’s no one knowledgeable to go to for anything, and you will end up doing everything yourself since delegating means it’s done lazily/wrong. Emotionally charged and volatile grown women over you who have something to prove everyday were the bane of everyone’s existence they were over constantly. Zero awareness and snarky attitudes who needed a reality check, instead chose to show up and be the worst version of themselves they possibly could be. Probably shouldn’t gossip about the people you manage in earshot of those same people, so they can harbor the tiniest droplet of respect they have left for you. Just an idea. External people are hired on with zero training and either verbally abuse everyone they manage with zero accountability, or they are nowhere to be found for 6 months while getting paid 75k to go to lunch with friends when they’re supposed to be working. It’s almost like toxicity and unethical values are a trait they scout for in their hiring process now. Super unethical business practices both by clinical and operational staff as well. You seriously wouldn’t believe the things I saw be willfully overlooked here done by bother parties. People aren’t friendly here either, and definitely not professional. Both clinicians and operations from top to bottom. The only way to stick around is to become the worst version of yourself and to go home upset that a milking cow mental health corporation has forced you to lower your values and expectations and wreck your health. This place will eat you from the inside out. Trust me. Choose ANY other company for your health and wellness. Please!

Pros

Copilot said: Flexible hybrid schedule, autonomy and independence, supportive colleagues, collaborative culture with resource sharing, strong administrative support, modern and cozy office spaces, good work-life balance, and a positive team environment.

Cons

Fee-for-service model creates significant income instability, especially while building a caseload. Despite being paid per session, you are generally expected to remain available during your scheduled hours and need approval to block time, making it difficult to use gaps in your schedule freely. Vacation time, sick time, holidays, and office closures are unpaid. No-show compensation is inconsistent. Sign-on bonus repayment requirements can significantly reduce paychecks if you leave early. Health benefits are costly, with high deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses. The 401(k) match is decent, but the company contribution is paid annually, so employees who leave before the payout may miss out on the match. Overall, the compensation and benefits did not meet expectations, making this a financially risky position if one does not have substantial savings or another source of income.
