Pros
the people you work directly with are amazing, opportunity to learn a lot for those who are entry level
Cons
but most of them won't be there much longer. upper management gives a top down hierarchical trickle effect to all of the workers, giving them impossible deadlines and expectations to meet (which causes a lot of stress and disfunction). if you don't meet the crazy expectations, you're kicked out of the cult. expect to be doing 3-4 jobs at the same time, while being paid for less than 1. salaries are exceptionally low compared to other companies and opportunities in RTP. if you're coming in with experience, they don't take it into consideration, which is why they look for fresh graduates/post-docs to groom into working 60 hours/week. you create great relationships because misery loves company, and that's what this company feeds off of. "unlimited PTO" is not real depending on what department you're in. work/life balance is nonexistent. you could be the best worker, but if upper management doesn't like you, you're out and never coming back. the ship is sinking.
