I'm truly not adding anything original here, but in the interest of combating the contrived 5-star reviews written by HR, here we go: Selecting even 1 star is giving the company too much credit. Hostile work environment. Cultish favoritism and nepotism. Pay for anyone below C-suite is far below industry standards. Expectation for blind faith in the company leadership, even when decisions are made in stark conflict with scientific evidence. Very few truly talented people stay longer than a few months. The expectation for hours worked versus compensation for the hours is delusional. Continuous punishment (including firing) of anyone who dissents from the "cool kids" and leadership on anything, even when dissent is scientifically supported. This also includes anyone who speaks out against unethical behavior from leadership. Complete disregard for the studies that need to be performed in the pre-clinical space to truly prepare the product for human testing. Absolutely nothing an employee discloses to HR is confidential. Bullying is a way of life, and all managers there are expected to bully those who report to them into planning, resourcing and completing whatever hair-brained scheme has popped into leadership's brain that day (seriously, the complete lack of forethought into any of the work that happens there is simply astonishing; how they have managed to continue existing for this long in the face of complete incompetency is nothing short of amazing). Mentioned at the start, but HR routinely writes and publishes 5-star reviews on here in an attempt to offset the majority of reviews that are an honest assessment of the company and its culture. If any actual employees trained in HR were employed by this company, they would be appalled and in disbelief at the way it is being run. ZERO adherence to the so-called company values at a holistic level. The only time the values are referenced is when they are leveraged to bully lower level employees into doing something that is not truly emblematic of the values and is in fact the polar opposite of any values. Employee burnout over excessive workload and poor working conditions is common. The disposable way in which people are treated is truly sad.
