Pros

I worked at Logical Position for several years. Their transparency and accessibility to management was fantastic during my time. I’ve worked for a lot of companies that claim to have an open door policy for upper management, but Logical Position walks the walk. They value ambition when promoting within, but also recognize the importance of recruiting new talent and perspectives. The various teams I worked with were always supportive and collaborated to solve problems. Another major benefit is that there is a clear growth path for most positions. You know what you’re working towards. For a long time, the culture was focused on younger employees, but even that shifted as the company grew. There are still plenty of events and activities to participate in if you have the time, but other values like benefits and financial stability became more important during Covid lockdowns. LP made investments in those areas to help support employees. There is a lot of snake oil in the agency world. LP is one of the good ones.

Cons

Even with all of the benefits, Logical Position is still an agency. Customer service is king, queen, judge, and jury. That level of service is tough to maintain, but it’s a requirement to work here. Sometimes you have to bite your tongue and smile. The sales team is a massive part of the company. Those entry level sales positions are great for building skills and understanding the value of LP’s services, but that type of competitive sales environment is not a good fit for everyone. That’s the case with any sales driven organization. Finally, Logical Position is growing and changing. New policies, new products, new technology are part of working for this company. I often hear people talk about the fast pace of working in an agency - this is very true for Logical Position. A fast pace to change and stay competitive, combined with ambitious sales goals and a very high level of customer service means you will sometimes have to toss out your plans and adapt. That type of environment is tough.

Pros

- Positive and diverse culture - All the sales help/assistance that you need - Your long term career here will be based on performance not likeability (both positive and negative because I like to be liked, but at the end of the day business is business and you'll have to perform) - You will perhaps have a higher starting salary at other companies, but here you wont be first off of the chopping block. You determine for yourself how valuable you want to be for a company, and they will pay you accordingly. - Work & life balance get better the more successful you get in the role

Cons

- You'll have to be really honest with yourself on what you need to do to get better - If you want the help I mentioned above, you'll have to be self-initiated - Your long-term career here will be based on performance not likeability (both positive and negative, because I like to be liked, but at the end of the day, business is business and you'll have to perform)

Pros

Logical Position has a genuinely supportive team environment, and there are a lot of people who genuinely want to help you improve. Good people, supportive managers, and plenty of training. I learned a lot about digital marketing and sales in a short amount of time. Everyone has been willing to answer questions and help when I needed it. If you're willing to put in the work and take feedback, there's definitely room to grow. I genuinely enjoy working for the company, they have been very fair and truly make you feel heard when you speak up or have suggestions.

Cons

It's a true sales job, so it's not for everyone. Cold calling all day can be mentally exhausting, and there are performance expectations you have to meet. It can take a little while to build confidence, so the first few months can be challenging. I struggle with this a lot, but the support that you get along the way is really helpful. Just don't get stuck in your head when things aren't perfect or you will force yourself to fail.
