Pros

I started with Logical Position mid-pandemic as a first-time remote worker. This is my honest account of what it's been like working for LP for the last 15 months: Being new to the professional world, it was important for me to start out with a company that offered a positive and supportive environment with growth potential. I wanted to feel like I was part of a team (despite working from home) and to be offered opportunities to develop my professional skills. I had heard stories from friends and family with remote work experience about what a WFH environment can really look like, i.e. lack of training, lack of support when onboarding, and lack of work-life balance. I went into my interview skeptical and was surprised to find that LP walks the walk--and has continued to do so. From my first day, my team welcomed me warmly. I felt valued right away, and I shortly had several people I felt comfortable reaching out to with questions. I even made connections with people in other departments in my first 3 months. I think this is because LP's fun atmosphere makes it easier to forge interpersonal relationships. People are encouraged to be themselves and share their interests, so you can find common ground pretty quickly. I can honestly say we have a lot of fun at work, and work hard simultaneously. I've also enjoyed a comfortable work-life balance while with LP. The paid holiday schedule is great, and I find the PTO accrual generous. We are also encouraged to "enrich our communities" and use our accrued Volunteer Time Off at a non-profit, which is another way LP puts its money where its mouth is. They seem to genuinely want us to make the lives of others better, and it's not cheap for them to offer that time. But I think most importantly, I'm amazed at what I've been able to accomplish here in 1 year due to the support of management. They recognized my drive right away and were willing to let me take on projects and even listened to me when I had ideas (as a very junior employee, which says a lot). I recommend LP for those just starting out in their careers, but also for tenured professionals who want to bring their skills and experience to help further the goals of an industry-leading organization.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say.

Pros

- Positive and diverse culture - All the sales help/assistance that you need - Your long term career here will be based on performance not likeability (both positive and negative because I like to be liked, but at the end of the day business is business and you'll have to perform) - You will perhaps have a higher starting salary at other companies, but here you wont be first off of the chopping block. You determine for yourself how valuable you want to be for a company, and they will pay you accordingly. - Work & life balance get better the more successful you get in the role

Cons

- You'll have to be really honest with yourself on what you need to do to get better - If you want the help I mentioned above, you'll have to be self-initiated - Your long-term career here will be based on performance not likeability (both positive and negative, because I like to be liked, but at the end of the day, business is business and you'll have to perform)

Pros

Logical Position has a genuinely supportive team environment, and there are a lot of people who genuinely want to help you improve. Good people, supportive managers, and plenty of training. I learned a lot about digital marketing and sales in a short amount of time. Everyone has been willing to answer questions and help when I needed it. If you're willing to put in the work and take feedback, there's definitely room to grow. I genuinely enjoy working for the company, they have been very fair and truly make you feel heard when you speak up or have suggestions.

Cons

It's a true sales job, so it's not for everyone. Cold calling all day can be mentally exhausting, and there are performance expectations you have to meet. It can take a little while to build confidence, so the first few months can be challenging. I struggle with this a lot, but the support that you get along the way is really helpful. Just don't get stuck in your head when things aren't perfect or you will force yourself to fail.
