Where do I start... Onboarding is convoluted and consistently delayed. Company will not budge on starting base salary, pay structure or benefits. They'll say its competitive. Maybe for a server or bartenders wage. Training is informal, No real structure to learning material, mediocre trainers. The culture looks good, but its a facade. Now lets get to the meat of why I'm no longer there and why you shouldn't be.
Throughout the hiring process and into hiring (July/August), I clearly informed them of my child's birth due date in September. Two weeks into onboarding, my child was born. I was told I could only have "two weeks" unpaid leave. Because benefits didn't kick in yet and I hadn't been at the company 5 months so I wasn't eligible. So as painful and financially difficult as it was, I took my unpaid leave. What I didn't know, and was definitely not informed, was that the 3 month sales quota, has ZERO relief or consideration. No exceptions.
On the day/night I was about to close my first deal and EXCEED my sales quota, the prospect decided they wanted to wait until after hours to sign the contract. Still intended to sign the same night, just needed some time because he was busy with his business. Immediately following that conversation, I was terminated and locked out of the laptop. No warning, No reminder of a hard date previously from management, No chance at rebuttal. 2.5 months to meet a 3 month quota with a newborn.
TL:DR - LP only cares about their bottom line and what aligns with the business. Not the people. Not their lives. Only the money and what the worker bees can produce for LP. Management will always pass the buck when real questions need to be answered.
