I regret that you had an experience with Lunar's UK team that was less than satisfactory, and I wish you felt empowered to discuss these concerns with our leadership directly. Safety, both in terms of our product and the wellbeing of our team, is a top priority and agenda item in our bi-weekly stand-ups. We're committed to fostering an environment where every team member feels supported, both mentally and physically. We have a well established wellbeing programme at Lunar UK that includes medical history disregarded private medical insurance, immediate online access to therapists, mental health first aiders, an employee lead wellbeing council and regular talks plus newsletters to ensure people have the resources they need to thrive. In certain situations, we have approved extended leaves of absence for employees to prioritise their mental well-being.
While I recognise the dynamic challenges of a startup environment and that it’s not for everyone, our recent internal survey showed that our employees are deeply engaged in Lunar’s mission and overall would recommend Lunar as a place to work. However, we acknowledge there is always room for growth. We remain committed to strengthening our culture and operational practices, especially as our software team scales to serve a global customer base.
