Pros

It's a very collaborative work environment. Decisions are made quickly. The products are top quality and the people I work with are dedicated to the long term success of the company. I love the cafe, which is convenient and is a great value. The company provides stock options for many positions which shows their confidence in the long term success of the business. Lots of perks at the Irvine office, including a gym, volleyball court, badminton, and plenty of space to step away from my desk to have lunch or take breaks. Tall cubicles for engineering and other departments. Great workspace for allowing me to work efficiently in a very busy work environment.

Cons

Increased training and development programs. There seems to be a lot of opportunity for growth, but perhaps being newer to the company, I would like more detail behind how to capture any opportunity to develop.

Pros

Danaher came in and this new ceo will be better than the last one. Innovative devices that make a real difference in clinical environments. Talented, dedicated engineers and individual contributors who are passionate about quality and results. Competitive benefits and resources supporting the technical work.

Cons

senior leadership appear disconnected from actual operations. They often seem to know little about the day-to-day realities and contribute minimal practical value, leading to poor decisions, bottlenecks, and wasted effort for the teams doing the real work. Increasing bureaucracy and top-heavy structure that slows down progress despite the strong capabilities of the people on the ground. A noticeable gap between executive influence and actual impact, which is frustrating even as a newcomer observing it. Key talent and legacy know-how are leaving at a concerning rate, which makes newcomers like me nervous about the company’s long-term knowledge retention and stability. Gossip is rampant, further eroding trust and team cohesion.
