Stable income as a company achieved solely by the products they sell.
Cons
All the higher up hires are from Edwards, so they don't know much about Masimo products or processes. However, they need to prove their worth so they implement new draconian policies to make their numbers look good which forces employees to work even more overtime and will cause more employees to quit.
It's a very collaborative work environment. Decisions are made quickly. The products are top quality and the people I work with are dedicated to the long term success of the company.
I love the cafe, which is convenient and is a great value.
The company provides stock options for many positions which shows their confidence in the long term success of the business.
Lots of perks at the Irvine office, including a gym, volleyball court, badminton, and plenty of space to step away from my desk to have lunch or take breaks.
Tall cubicles for engineering and other departments. Great workspace for allowing me to work efficiently in a very busy work environment.
Cons
Increased training and development programs. There seems to be a lot of opportunity for growth, but perhaps being newer to the company, I would like more detail behind how to capture any opportunity to develop.
