Pros
Our store has a great team, I truly love everyone that I work with. The customers are nice and friendly (for the most part), and it's easy to help them out and suggest clothes. Everything for operations is nicely organized and if something goes wrong I know who to call, or where to look to find the solution. Also, it's not commission based and at Maurices we focus on team selling.
Cons
Maurices goals are mainly focused on credit cards and selling (like any retailer). If you are not comfortable selling credit cards or making sure that you push to meet a sales and units goal, this may not be the job for you. But it's not that complicated if you love fashion and helping customers. Also, not a lot of room for advancement, there are only two full positions at each store and everyone else is part time. And the Area Sales Manager position just got cut so after you hit full-time Manager, you kinda already hit your peak.
