Pros

Awesome MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital President & CEO, Chris Wray really cares and has done a lot in a short period of time to make a huge difference. It's takes time to undo years of an old mindset and challenged culture - but she and other employees, providers, and leaders who care and want to be great - are doing it. Communication, pay, leadership, policy, procedures, cleanliness, patient care, food, its all better and gets better every day.

Cons

A few hangover leaders still need to go including CNO. They like the old way , hence pockets of challenges still exist that could be better. The more new talented, professional leaders AND employees come it will dilute the old ways of favoritism and paying the squeaky wheel more money. The new salary guidelines implemented in 2017 is helping A LOT!

In the beginning I had a rough start but then after while things got better. MY mangers did well with handling the situation at hand.
