Pros

Fellow work colleages. Stream lined physician group. Providing excellent emergent health services to a growing citizenry.

Cons

The resources for the nursing staff is stagnant. The support for the nursing staff is nonexistant. The patient to nurse ratio in the emergency room ranges from 1:4 to 1:5. There are no additional resources. It is one nuse taking care of 4 to 5 level 2's and level 1's. The nonemergent pt's are placed in an area called REMI. There the ratio is 1:5. The nurses are blamed when things go wrong instead of seriously looking at the work load. Middle management is not held accountable.
