Pros

Entire Talent Acquisition Partners were treated equally and all on the same pay scale

Cons

At some point, MedStar started paying RN’s turned recruiter $9,000 based on the pay scales more per year than the other Talent Acquisition Partners despite having the same job and duties. They chose to leave nursing and Talent Acquisition Partners aren’t paid more for having a degree in HR or a SHRM credential. The RN degree and credential is the only thing that gets you paid more for doing the same job. They don’t hire physicians to hire other physicians. They don’t hire EVS or security to hire them so why do they do this for nursing? Ever since they increased the pay for TAP’s with nursing degrees the rest of us are treated on a lower level than the nurses who left nursing to become recruiters. It’s shifted the environment.
