Pros

- pay - PTO - benefits - coworkers

Cons

Staff/ex-staff who are sick, injured, or disabled are treated poorly. Supervisor wasn't happy I called out 12+ hours before my shift as I was still recovering from a car accident where my car was totaled. Then acted all concerned when they saw the pictures. Also called repeatedly asking when I was coming back after I was hospitalized with bilateral pneumonia and went home on oxygen, telling me maybe I wasn't cut out to be a floor nurse. - After being terminated when I went on long term disability, I've applied to three positions: First time the recruiter only asked about my limitations and what my disability was (that's illegal). Then never replied to any of my emails. Second time I had a good call with the recruiter and had a panel interview. There was never any follow up and emails to the recruiter again went unanswered. The last job I applied to again had a good conversation with the recruiter and hiring manager, got an informal job offer from the recruiter (discussing the start date), and the next day I was told management wanted someone with more experience, despite the job posting saying more than a year, which I have. The first two jobs openings went unfilled for a period of time after I was ghosted. The last job I applied for is still posted and still has the same experience requirements, despite my telling both the recruiter and hiring manager via email that if they want more than 2 years experience, the job posting should reflect that so as to not waste people's time. Three stars instead of less because when I was not sick, injured, or disabled, it was a great place to work. I worked there for almost 10 years between different positions.
