Pros

The benefits are much better than most companies in the area.

Cons

It is a fab shop which means it is dirty. If you are a welder or used to working in a fab shop then it is a normal atmosphere.

Pros

Break room was nice. They had some nice celebration. Free chiropractic care and on-site clinic.

Cons

The place was dirty. In the maintenance department old parts had been sitting in the same place for years collecting inches of dust. No room to put your tools. While guys have been there a while had space where they can have their toolbox a chair to sit in and a locker and you got crammed in a corner. No Hands-On training of any of the machines while I was there. It was just thrown in and had to figure out how to operate/ fix the machines. Most of the other maintenance techs wouldn't help you or train you on anything. They had one guy that would actually show you how to do things properly and teach you how to work on things. I was eventually supposed to go to the second shift, right before I went to second shift they pulled me into the office and told me that they were going to demote me to just a regular maintenance tech. Docked my pay $3 an hour and told me that I could possibly get it back. But they still wanted me to work on electrical stuff.
