Pros

Great if you are an Criminal Justice Intern but unless you are friends (aka the slave) with one of the dispatchers your career is over.

Cons

Expect to stand for long periods of time Very low pay!!!!!!! The dispatchers treated me and the other Guards/Store Detectives that I worked with like crap (They literally screamed at me on the phone & threatened me) No work/life balance Company lost a lot of contracts The overall interview process/ selection process is not thought out Training is terrible Ownership cares only about their pockets and not about those that make up this company. Benefits are horrible

Pros

Consistent hours Not much oversight Not required to get into dangerous situations Work 4 days then get 3 days off which is as good but you work nights

Cons

EXTREMELY BORING no upward movement in the company You work by yourself and aren’t allowed to talk to anyone or sit Late hours, typically 2PM to 11PM so it’s hardly to have a life outside of work. I tried to transfer to a new location when I moved and the manager I worked with tried to get me in contact with the manager in the new location and she has my information and she still hasn’t reached out. I’m now forced to find a different job but I never liked the job anyways. I cried before many shifts because it was that miserable. Good company, bad job.
