Pros

Worked as a cross trained security guard/warehouse auditor for a few months. Easy to get along with management as long as you tried to communicate and were open regarding circumstances. Plenty of opportunity for extra hours if you made an earnest effort in your assignments. Paid above minimum wage with extra for the cross training.

Cons

Scheduling varies week by week across multiple shifts which makes it borderline impossible to hold another job. Plenty of surprise calls and shifts when things go wrong. Company will keel over and play a slave to whoever they're contracted with, often at the expense of employees. Quota culture for auditing.

Pros

Consistent hours Not much oversight Not required to get into dangerous situations Work 4 days then get 3 days off which is as good but you work nights

Cons

EXTREMELY BORING no upward movement in the company You work by yourself and aren’t allowed to talk to anyone or sit Late hours, typically 2PM to 11PM so it’s hardly to have a life outside of work. I tried to transfer to a new location when I moved and the manager I worked with tried to get me in contact with the manager in the new location and she has my information and she still hasn’t reached out. I’m now forced to find a different job but I never liked the job anyways. I cried before many shifts because it was that miserable. Good company, bad job.
