Pros
Milo’s puts an effort to put out the message that it is an Employee first company. It gives lots of incentives and encouragement to encourage volunteering in the community. It projects an image of a family community which cares about the community and the employees and it is true to some extent. Co-workers were great and friendly bunch. Always felt welcome. Comp was competitive for Alabama. Paid health insurance and parental leave policy were nice plus. It felt good being at a company being on the cusp of greater things.
Cons
It can be like Turkey during Thanksgiving, One moment you think you are on top of world and then all off a sudden your head is chopped off. Don’t get carried away by the vibes; it’s just a job. You can be replaced anytime.
