Pros

The work isn't overwhelming although we are working with hundreds of students, professors, etc.

Cons

As a work study employee, it is hard to advance. Usually people don't leave Monroe, so there aren't much spaces to fill if they wanted to permanently hire a work study student.

Pros

There are few amazing students.

Cons

Management is downright toxic. They thrive on pitting employees against each other and crushing any spark of innovation. If you dare to suggest an idea, you’re treated like a nuisance instead of valued. Salaries are insultingly low, yet they expect you to grind away endless hours as if your life belongs to them. The leadership is selfish, greedy, and completely indifferent to rewarding or recognizing the people who actually keep the place running.
