Pros
The compensation was competitive and there was no ceiling on commissions. There is a great opportunity for women to earn good money there. The showrooms are pleasant and well organized. The furniture is overall good quality.
Cons
Sexual harassment was the rule and not the exception. They are not good at communicating with their employees, with trainers giving conflicting information from what managers want and expect. Their hours are ridiculous, inflexible and not family friendly. Their late policy is too stringent. Sales associates are not free janitors, and a pre-requisite of being a sales associate should not be spending over and hour each shift cleaning up the show room, making popcorn and cookies, etc. The delivery times were often wrong, and the sales associates end up losing their commissions and hard work through no fault of their own when there is no furniture to deliver and they refuse to order until there is a full crate from that manufacturer. Managers will snake your deals and steal your commissions if you don't carefully watch what is going on.
