Pros
job security, medical & dental, company match on 401ks.
Cons
Upper management issues, Broken promises, and 0 common sense. This is a company whose executives are 'financiers' and who have zero experience in the medical field. The focus of the labs were on the wrong things, such as furthering AI within the lab when everyone is barely scraping by to "hit numbers" and who graduated with degrees in biology, not IT. At one point we had half of the people in the lab with broken chairs and had to "borrow" ones from other parts of the building because our bosses' boss, couldn't figure out a better way to get them. The raises given out are $0.26 cent raises, after you worked there for a year... I thought it was a joke when I heard it. They'll attribute the small amount to the fact that they're a nonprofit, but I have worked for two other nonprofits that never made an excuse like that.
