Leveling in the auth department is extremely difficult. There was a recent freeze on promotions. They want people to go way above & beyond, take on special projects, join pointless committees, etc and even when you do all that you still get denied. Getting 140% + on metrics and constant 100% audit scores isn’t enough to get paid or recognized. They structure your bonus around things that are out of your control, like how long it takes an insurance to approve an auth. Benefits are good but continue to go up in cost year after year. New hires make more than I do and I’ve been here for 8 years
