Pros

The company mission is what motivates anyone to do their best, especially if they’re directly affiliated with the military personally. The customers are awesome and the benefit package is one of the best that any organization has to offer. Also it’s team driven

Cons

First, pay attention to the demographics for senior management; it’s not as diverse. If you’re a person of color, the environment can come across as racial especially if your looking to climb the corporate ladder. If they don’t like you, they find a way to get rid of you or, you’ll end of being stuck the the position that you’re in. Remember HR works for the best interest of the organization not the associate. Senior management encourages an open door policy however, if you don’t follow chain of command you will be regarded as a “problem child”. They pre-select associates for certain positions. If your a single parent, you will need a second job to make ends meet. If you apply for a position and don’t tell your current supervisor, you will get penalized for it.

Pros

Buying at the NEX (Tax free items, Scratch Cards. Clearance, Gas) & Base Access (Gym, Commissary, Amenities)

Cons

immediate supervisors were ignorant in how to manage multiple tasks and people despite working over a decade at establishment. Completely ruined working environment for sales associates if they did not like you.
