Pros

Good perks, relaxed environment, free snacks, flexible work hours.

Cons

1) Back to office during a pandemic. Why should anyone put themselves or their families at risk by following your stupid guidelines? Your canned response of "The decision to resume work from office was taken after careful consideration of the employee’s safety both while they commute and while they are in office." is ironical, stupefying and racist. Why is it mandatory only for India offices and not for ones in EU or USA? Think about how your decisions are seen by employees. Also, when the COO says "if people are going to buy vegetables, why can they not come to office?", you know that you're working for a leader who does not care bout your well being. 2) Miserly to the core. Cost savings by laying off existing employees on bench and then hiring frmo the market by paying double the amount, there is no logic to some of the decisions taken by management. Simple maths can show you are paying more in hiring from the market than investing in your existing assets (employees). 3) Ineffective decisionmaking - Expect delays in approvals for the smalles of the things. No one has authority except the COO. Runs operations like his personal petri dish. No doubt the result is a diseased delivery function struggling to support various customer engagement. 4) Useless HR - Complete function in India is a joke. Incapable of taking decisions or being empathetic to the employees. Nobody cares abuot your fun activities or Nesscoffee's with management. Useless.

Cons

One of the worst jobs I have ever had. The recruiter promised me a range of salary and when it was time to actually land somewhere she did not offer what was discussed and low balled me. Told me I was greedy and I pushed back saying It's not what we discussed. I was able to lock in the low part of that range but then she does a bait and switch on me telling me the role is fully remote. Then I am being told and yelled at to come into a office when that is not what was discussed or in my offer letter. I had a manager who sat in another country and on day one of meeting them, they chewed me out for not going into a office when I already had pre- engagements before taking the job and let everyone know multiple times. It wasn't even a hello how are you, it was a full on yelling match at me, for not being in and if I have done this at "other companies". People I worked with did my job and kept over stepping and I couldn't do my role because a PM kept doing all the design work. Eventually, I say down with HR to voice concerns and decided to leave the role since its not what was promised or discussed. Awful company with awful people who will throw you under the bus at any point in time.
