Pros

There is free housing with the position. The students are incredible, open-minded, and brilliant. Both campuses are beautiful.

Cons

I did not receive a raise. There is no motivation to want to work harder because there is no reward or recognition for those who do.

Pros

New England College is an excellent place to work. In particular, there is a congenial and collaborative culture that I appreciate, and faculty, staff, and senior leadership are focused on helping students succeed.

Cons

I can't think of any cons specific to NEC, budgets in Higher Education can be tight, and a lot is asked of employees.
