If I could give Newsweek 0 stars, I would. This place is a nightmare. The expectations shift constantly. I know it's not just me. Read the other reviews. They are 100% accurate. You will be gaslighted. You will be overworked for a salary that is well below the industry standard. You will be treated with absolute disrespect. It's like being in a narcissistic relationship, and I'm beginning to think having a shred of empathy, human compassion, or even basic decency will immediately disqualify you from working at Newsweek. You will question your own sanity after a while, but if you're lucky, you'll band together with your colleagues who will reassure you that you're not the crazy one. It's not you. It's THEM. And by them I mean the zombies who populate Newsweek's management team. I'm guessing that to get there, you must abandon your humanity. And if you don't fall in line, you get the ax. Because one thing Newsweek loves to do is switch gears and go in a completely different direction with zero regard for the fallout or the employees they fire.
