A Waste of Talent and Time - QA Engineer Novarad Employee Review

- The pay & benefits range from bad to okay, with the exception of some people who have been there for ages. The company has begun self-insuring due to financial constraints and I firmly believe that this is a terrible idea. They treat their older employees quite well, but newer employees are treated poorly. - The culture is atrocious. It's certainly the worst company culture I've ever been a part of. - The CEO is so bad it's actually kind of funny. He makes everything he's a part of much harder, and his frequent trips are actually a blessing because people can actually get things done. He's actually so bad that I was warned about him in the first interview that I did here. I imagine at some point he must have been a decent person, but at this point he's hard to take seriously and nobody in the company really would if he couldn't fire them. -Management isn't great and it gets worse the closer the position you work is to the CEO. I liked my manager, but he didn't spend much of his time actually managing. The management & communication (or lack thereof) made my role almost impossible to succeed in.
