Pros

Good Salary, Bonus and RSU program.

Cons

Worst work experience in 10 years. Looking at the level of Okx marketing with F1 and Manchester city, its a shame the company has such bad culture and respect for their employees. Its an absolute shame to be affiliated with this company for brands like these. This is the same company as okx, okg, okcoin. And their multiple subsidiaries. 1. Manager does not know how to deal with employees and perfectionism is expected, regardless of employee’s efforts to make things work. 2. You will be told after 2 days of joining ‘workload was intentionally slow’ and ‘now we need to pick the pace’. And you’re immediately thrown into a rabbit hole. 3. Keep in mind they will not do what they promised to do in your offer letter / work agreement. Was asked to move to their headoffice in SJ after a set number of months, and in return they would file a GC. When the time came, manager lied he wasn’t aware of the situation when it had been told to him personally repeatedly. They backed out of their agreement. 4. zero work processes in place and the person backfilling months of reports is expected to magically produce timely and accurate reporting with big expectations on requirement to review, and is told they are ineffective when they make mistakes 5. management solely responsible for bringing down motivation to work, gaslit into thinking we are the issue and not worth the position, and destroy mental health. 6. every sense of the word MICROMANAGEMENT: management (specifically The senior manager of the team) will breathe down your neck and would want to know what you are upto every 5mins, almost coming off as they suspect you dont work or waste time (completely untrustworthy behavior). You are expected to stay in communication all day, provide more than regular updates on work, and if you submit anything 3mins late you will get a message stating you are late and asking about the status. 7. 12-15 hour workshift: no space of missing deadlines or asking to adjust work, even for things as little as internal SOPs that are not critical to anyone. And if you ask for more time you are called ‘ineffective, doubtful you have such experience and education’. 8. on the mention of missing lunch due to work pressure and deadlines, it went completely unacknowledged. 9. If you want to get off by 5,6pm this is not the place. Absolutely zero work life balance. The manager calls it ‘oh you just wanted to get off by 7pm’ which was truly shocking, for someone coming here from BIG companies that respect work life balance and recognize people have other things to do. 10. no respect of people coming from different culture or religion: zero relaxation given when asked for religious breaks, adjustments in timing etc. 11. zero automation, they will reel you in by telling you yes we are looking to automate which is why you think you were being brought in to do, but expect you to work like an automation tool or a computer on manual things. 12. Work ethic is also disregarded when scolding employees of ‘poor performance’ when in reality it is the expectation that is unreasonable. 13. Unrealistic deadlines will be assigned so you can be told ‘its you who’s inefficient’. The politics is real. 14. File numbers will be changed for versions so it can be shown how many times they had to review it and put the blame on you. 15. when concerns were raised instead of addressing the issue management decides it is best ‘to look after your mental and physical health’ clearly hinting you should quit, disregarding their own problems in the senior manager. 16. management will literally lie to your face on things they forgot that you had mentioned and blame it on you. 17. The manager lives in the ‘excel world’ where comments and feedback are all reported there, which can be missed sometimes and the blame is again shifted on employee and called as ‘not even addressed’ the issue. No one is tech educated. 18. noticed atleast 3 people had left during my short term there. Their employee turnover is bad and that should be a red flag itself. 19. you will be expected to do others jobs as well. And should you take more time to do that or raise concerns, it is yet again your fault. 20. wellbeing of employee is the last priority. ‘We get a thrill from working day and night’ is the response from management, and they want others to work the same way also. 21. being honest with management and requesting time off for important documentation work that other companies recognize are part of life, was stated as “time off taken for personal work” as if its a bad thing. and portrayed as missing important time not working. 22. even half hour will not be left in the workshift to breathe, and manager will call it ‘downtime’ and find some other work for you in that half hour break. 23. where every employee has their own shortcomings and has used all criticism to improve, 100% would never recommend anyone to work here.
