Cons

Cons: 1. Micromanagement – Employees must log even short 15-minute breaks and meal breaks. 2. Excessive Communication Channels – Too many Messenger groups with different policies and purposes, making it overwhelming. 3. Constant Policy Changes – Policies and workflows change weekly, requiring employees (especially those on leave) to stay updated constantly. 4. Broken WFH Promise – Initially promised two days of WFH, but later revoked for all except team leads. 5. Poor Communication – Team leads are often unresponsive, leading to confusion and lack of direction. 6. Lack of Work-Life Balance – Heavy workload with minimal flexibility. 7. No Overtime Pay – Only team leads are eligible for OT, while others must work within tight deadlines. 8. Unreliable Management – Frequent broken promises, creating trust issues. 9. Lack of Empathy – Employees’ concerns are not addressed, making the work environment less supportive.

Pros

Great team, Great learning opportunities, great management that that had to work across timezones & cultures

Cons

many of the staff I was in contact with with worked during the Beijing timezone, so overnight work was the main option

Pay was good. There were a lot of talented people who cared about doing a good job.

Cons

Restructuring was continual. Extremely high turn over. Lack of actually wanting to do the right thing.
