Pros
In terms of culture, since OKG is in Malaysia and have many races and ethnicity made the working environment quite interesting and harmonious and everyone is respecting each other's boundaries. The working pace is rather fast pace since the guideline can be change overnight and have to keep up with the speed which i find it challenging yet fulfilling. The work as CDD is interesting as it involve onboarding the customer and must be done in timely manner, it involves communicating with customer to make the onboarding process smooth. One thing i find it very interesting is that they always welcome any feedback or any team contribution that can improvise the working process, any idea is welcome here. There is always room for improvement.
Cons
Sometime language barrier is there when the colleague is a foreigner but it can be overcome and it is not a big deal. I would appreciate it if the team leader does not have favoritism in terms of involving the analyst whenever there is any new project or any system that need testing - as the 'selected analyst' will have more outstanding performance - which shows favoritism and biased. Any voice or idea is welcome there, but it is not sure whether the idea reach the management or only kept at silenced at TL level or what. Hope the idea can bring change to the team but when kept silent, the idea just cease to exist. For night shift, it is a bit dangerous to come to work, hope the management can deal with the building management to maybe give discount to the night shift worker in terms of parking as it is dangerous for female worker to park outside the building and walking in the dark. There is no more WFH and it would be interesting of keep hybrid just like in the past.
