      Pros

      OceanFirst has worked and continues to work really hard on work life balance. The company understands there are needs outside of the day to day business and does everything in their power to help with that. They have implemented a Hybrid schedule, which allows employee to work from home in addition to the office.

      Cons

      The days can sometimes be long and stressful, specific to my job. Having switched to a new Core system within the past year, that can add frustration at times.

      Pros

      The orientation process at OceanFirst Bank was exceptionally well executed. It created a welcoming, non-intimidating environment where interns were introduced to the company’s culture and daily operations. Senior leaders—including the CEO, treasurer, and other top executives—took the time to speak about their roles and their contributions to fostering that culture. Interns were also given valuable opportunities to network and connect with one another. Overall, the experience was both engaging and highly enjoyable.
