Pros
Pay is good. Offers retention bonus. Lots of financial support for tuition-reimbursement, scholarships, etc. Excellent orientation process, they are so on top of their game for new associates. They were prepared for anything to make you won’t get lost, all questions answered, had people at the front door to take you where you needed to be. They care about their employees. So glad I made the decision to work for OhioHealth.
Cons
Seniority is department-based which is unfortunate (if I’ve been a nurse for 20 years on one unit and decide to transfer to another unit, I lose all seniority). My previous job based seniority on how long you’ve worked at hospital, so seniority follows you from department to department.
