Pros

Supporting the troops and helping them stay safe by supporting the end product is a huge reason I wanted to work here. Company has a very positive culture and values. You are able to seek out the role that best suits your talents- software, powertrain, suspension, chassis, specific platform, etc. Very friendly and helpful coworkers. The mantra is People First, which seems to be moving the company in a very positive direction. There are lots of opportunities to contribute on corp wide teams and volunteer groups. Work life balance is pretty amazing. Most depts go off a 40 hr flex week. Work minimum 40 hrs (get your work done of coarse) and come in and leave work whenever you please. Healthcare is not bad, option is a High Deductible Health Plan combined with a HSA, and the company adds $500/yr to your HSA. No bonus stock options. 401k match up to 6%.

Cons

It seems like they are VERY stringent with pay. For example, a contractor of two years was hired on, with the same base pay I started at- while I was the one with no experience. Most contractors that go full-time say its a pay cut but they wanted the benefits. Expect less than 3% annual raise, with a flat rate across the board 800$ annual bonus - plus or minus $100 depending on company performance. The influence of individual performance and compensation seems disconnected. HR seems to control any monetary dispositions. HOWEVER, word is the HR dept is re-evaluating roles, we have our fingers crossed that it will become a competitive paying position. Con #2 Oshkosh, WI. Small town. Very flat. However, still loads to do in the few months of nice weather!
