Cons

While working at Pods i was disgusted to witness how employees are treated.Hr could care less about their employees honestly.Trainers are not even knowledgeable on what their training because apparently things change so often and leadership is definitely not on the same page. The point system is the stupidest system i have ever heard of.You have no feeling of job security.Just the sense that you can and will be replaced. They want you to eat and breathe Pods once your hired and leave little to no room for a personal life.During the hiring process, recruiters, trainers and supervisors will really make you feel like you made the right decision and in less than a week you realize that was the farthest from the truth. You are monitored for how long and how many times you go to the bathroom, you have to pay to wear jeans (mind you we never see our customers) & they basically train you to lie to customers about the whereabouts of their container. The whole system of having employees call the actual storage location is so stupid and causes so many communication issues and long hold times for customers because you can never reach anyone at the location.Pods has great innovative ideas as far as the podzilla etc but its policies, drama filled staff and ridiculous point system make it hard for anyone to consider Pods for long term or permanent career choice.Turn over rate is ridiculous. Also, the prices for customers to rent a container is shy of robbery.Just absurd and ridiculous pricing!

Pros

People know the brand but that’s it

Cons

This is the worst environment I’ve probably ever worked in, constant lies, awful culture where some people work remote others don’t, director level and above treat everyone else with zero respect. The pay is so below average it’s alarming. The amount of leaders who don’t know how to develop their employees is staggering and their are C level folks who have never hired in their careers before moving into the role.
