Pros

Decent pay for call center in St. Pete.

Coming from someone who’s worked in a call centers for 20+ years, PODS is probably the worst. They are absolutely are not employee friendly. They don’t care about work life balance. Instead of positively encouraging the employee ...they look for ways to fire you. If your son breaks his arm you get in trouble. If you’re sick you get in trouble. If you get in a car accident you get in trouble. Then you get escorted to human resources and asked to pack your things. Supervisors will never talk to irate customers. You’re basically lying to the customers about their deliveries or pick ups. The entire computer system is a joke. You don’t have the tools to do your job. Supervisors disappear in the evening for hours at a time. Employees have no worth to the company. If you have to use a sick day it comes out of your vacation time if you need to be paid. It’s a glorified sweatshop with no support from management. It’s a shame because the product is good.

People know the brand but that’s it

Cons

This is the worst environment I’ve probably ever worked in, constant lies, awful culture where some people work remote others don’t, director level and above treat everyone else with zero respect. The pay is so below average it’s alarming. The amount of leaders who don’t know how to develop their employees is staggering and their are C level folks who have never hired in their careers before moving into the role.
