Pros
It was nice in the beginning, before covid they did these employee appreciation at the beginning and end of the month. Schedule was somewhat flexible based on manager discretion. They let you off 2.5 hours early the day before a holiday.
Cons
It’s business casual, you were only allowed jean days on those appreciation days and last Friday of the month. No tuition reimbursement and no culture. Manager was a micromanager, had no actual management training, I was told they were thrown into the position so it’s not surprising. Seems they don’t have developmental plans to help their employees grow. They overwork you and expect you to finish multiple reports, follow up on so many things all while doing your job. Manager would go through personal emails questioning everything even though emails were already taken care of. You have to get approval for EVERYTHING because they don’t trust employees judgment.
