Pros

Dynamic, growing and diverse city with lots of retail, amenities and events for all ages. Great place to work with good pay, benefits, 4/10 work schedule, good people. Future is bright in Palmdale.

Cons

The 2008 recession hurt Palmdale and other cities and staff was reduced in half.

Pay is good but expectations always different. Depends on day of the week, priorities always changing. Bosses play favorites. Work hard get more work. Watch favorites get away with doing nothing.

Cons

Unsupportive leadership. No growth opportunities.
