Pros

Dynamic, growing and diverse city with lots of retail, amenities and events for all ages. Great place to work with good pay, benefits, 4/10 work schedule, good people. Future is bright in Palmdale.

Cons

The 2008 recession hurt Palmdale and other cities and staff was reduced in half.

Friday off no social security

Cons

work 10 hours a day Too much gossip and blame games many analysts and managers abuse the work-from-home policy. higher management and hr don't listen to employees' concerns women don't follow the dress code but men are expected to ( discrimination against men) you pay a huge part of the medical insurance

Sometimes easy money and your coworkers and bosses are generally alright people.

Cons

City doesn't have your back with most issues, and if you don't have thick skin, it'll wear you down. You're dealing with mostly homeless and angry people.
