While many employees have the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity, positions designated as fully on-site may have limited flexibility if business needs change. When an on-site role is no longer required, employees may not always have the opportunity to transition into a remote or hybrid position within the organization. Exploring internal placement or flexible work options, when feasible, could help retain experienced employees and preserve valuable institutional knowledge.
