Pros

Parasol is an excellent company to work for, with an employee-driven focus on MSP work. You get exposed to various systems and technology with a national team that works together. I had the opportunity to start at the bottom rung and work my way up to a role that empowered me to learn and grow as an IT professional. In a world where metrics on employee productivity can drive remote work, Parasol trusts and supports their employees with company culture and ethos. If you are a ticket warrior and constantly deliver, you will have zero problems with Parasol.

Cons

Essentially, Parasol's problems are transitioning from a regionally focused company to a national brand. The leadership has been completely revived over the last year with a new structure and support, which caused some friction in day-to-day operations, but other than growing pains, there are no real concerns. For anyone who's not confident in MSP work, there will be a wall of knowledge and experience to climb, but Parasol doesn't pressure employees to be complete experts overnight.

Pros

Great flexibility of work, knowledgeable colleagues, and overall good work environment.

Cons

One area for improvement is workplace flexibility. While many employees have the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity, positions designated as fully on-site may have limited flexibility if business needs change. When an on-site role is no longer required, employees may not always have the opportunity to transition into a remote or hybrid position within the organization. Exploring internal placement or flexible work options, when feasible, could help retain experienced employees and preserve valuable institutional knowledge.
