Pros

If you come prepared to work hard each and every day, Paycom is as rewarding a job as there is out there. From the receptionist and maintenance staff to the C-level executives, the people at Paycom are as good as it gets. I have worked at a number of organizations across the state and nobody compares to the collective group of people who are proud to call Paycom their employer. This is an organization that needs people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and figure out ways to do things better. Everyone in the organization is held accountable, so be prepared to discuss key metrics and how you are moving the needle for the betterment of the company. You will make lifelong friends at Paycom and I cherish the people I call my colleagues.

Cons

There are some people who do not know what true management looks like and when they experience it, they call it micromanaging. These individuals would be well versed to experience what true micromanagement looks like in order to feel that way.

Pros

Get to meet new people every day, the environment and culture is amazing, and I am always welcomed wherever I go!

Cons

Stressful getting the hang of things. Took a couple months. Very worth sticking around because there is great potential to move up.

Pros

* Fast learning and professional skill growth. * Great people and strong teams. * Recognized name in the OKC community. * Valuable experience that strengthens future career opportunities, especially in Tech.

Cons

Over the past couple of years, career growth has felt extremely limited. Promotions and meaningful raises have become increasingly rare, and many employees believe these decisions are being driven from the very top. Layoffs and terminations have also become common, creating a constant sense of uncertainty. High performers often take on high-visibility projects with aggressive timelines and limited support. The expectations are unrealistic, and even successful delivery doesn’t usually lead to recognition or advancement. Leadership tends to make decisions very late, creating unnecessary urgency and forcing teams into last-minute scrambles. Benefits have declined, opportunities for advancement have become scarce, and overall morale has suffered significantly. There are talented people here and it can be a good place to gain experience, but I would view it primarily as a stepping stone rather than a long-term destination.
