Pros

My coworkers and team lead are really awesome.

Cons

Upper-level management cares very little about the lives of their employees. The care that they do have is superficial and is only there to preserve their self-image. They will make promises and then don’t keep them, like saying that they have no plans on ending WFH, and then turn around and have everyone return to in-person five days a week within a month’s time. The CIO states that he has notice “minor slippage” in performance over the last 2-1/2 years of WFH, but then does not show any evidence to back it up other than a hunch. This decision does nothing to improve performance— it just takes away the time I get to spend with my family. The upper-level management is either incredibly out-of-touch, or they think that their workers are expendable.

We understand everyone processes change differently and that change can be difficult. Beginning in August 2021, we began slowly returning to the office and have seen tremendous momentum from the groups who returned to our campuses, which has helped our people be more successful. For the company we are and the goals we’ve set, this is the best decision to continue our rapid growth. Pros

The work we do is challenging but is satisfying. $4 dollar lunches are great and I enjoy the people and managers I work with. We have gone through changes, but the changes are worth it and the tools we are provided keep us successful. The salary is great and top level, highly recommend working here if you love a challenge. I promise you’ll never be bored.

Cons

The workload and hours can be heavy at times, but the long-term gratification is worth it. Paycom is about long-term investment, and it requires patience and perseverance but it’s worth it, if you are strong enough.

Pros

* Fast learning and professional skill growth. * Great people and strong teams. * Recognized name in the OKC community. * Valuable experience that strengthens future career opportunities, especially in Tech.

Cons

Over the past couple of years, career growth has felt extremely limited. Promotions and meaningful raises have become increasingly rare, and many employees believe these decisions are being driven from the very top. Layoffs and terminations have also become common, creating a constant sense of uncertainty. High performers often take on high-visibility projects with aggressive timelines and limited support. The expectations are unrealistic, and even successful delivery doesn’t usually lead to recognition or advancement. Leadership tends to make decisions very late, creating unnecessary urgency and forcing teams into last-minute scrambles. Benefits have declined, opportunities for advancement have become scarce, and overall morale has suffered significantly. There are talented people here and it can be a good place to gain experience, but I would view it primarily as a stepping stone rather than a long-term destination.
