Pros

My team is awesome, they’re always willing to drop everything and assist me with anything I need! They cater lunches everyday, which most of the time is good, just try to avoid eating Eddie’s (Pepperoni Grill, Craft Kitchen, and the Lounge as well, owned by Eddie’s). Lunch is only $4 which is nice; sometimes it’s a steal, sometimes it’s a ripoff (especially if it’s Eddie’s). They provide multiple options for lunches, along with GG, vegetarian/vegan options, etc. Love the gym and basketball courts, along with the outdoor walking track and soccer field! Benefits are very good as well, pretty much can’t beat what they offer!

Cons

Definitely underpaid for the amount of work we do and the role that we play in getting a client actually set up in Paycom. We basically give the client a first impression of what using the product will look like, and we can either make or break how they see the product and how long they are with us. You’d think that would warrant good pay, but I guess not. Oh, the commission is also terrible, so be ready to work here for a few years before you see even a .5% commission, and even longer before you see a max of 1%. During the busy times of year (quarter starts, year end), be ready to work lots of overtime!

Pros

The opportunity available to grow and upskill yourself is unlimited. The people you work with have the care and drive for continual improvement. You will find yourself surrounded by people that have a passion for ensuring that the product and customer service being provided are World Class. You will truly get what you give out of the experience - if you want to Win, Paycom is the place to do it.

Cons

The expectations are high because the standards are - if you are not internally motivated/don't enjoy a fast paced environment, you may not find the fulfillment you are looking for working for an organization that is continuously looking to excel and evolve.

Pros

- Base salary - PTO - Awesome colleagues - $1 Medical PPO offering

Cons

- Upper leadership seem to not value the operations department as much as they do with sales. They are not consistent as well, which causes them to change the entire department's job description, expectations, & commission structure every few months. Change is good but huge change every 3-4 months is so exhausting. - They overload you with too many clients to handle while increasing the number of internal calls. When asking for support from sales or middle management, its typically a hard negotiation or non-existent. Expect to work way over 40 hours/week and juggle 10-20+ clients at a time. - Sales will oversell on product & implementation expectation which makes the job 1000% harder. Turnover with sales is extremely high so don't expect for even the best reps stay as they either leave, get fired because quota was not met, or the new manager will cut them if they're "not the vibe". You get left with the newbies who does not know how to sell or support you when you need them. - Every role in this company has high turnover in general. Making it very hard to cross collaborate with other departments as everyone is either extremely swamped or new to the role and cannot support as well, - Being forced to go to Oklahoma for training every year, sometimes twice a year.
