Pros

- Depending on the team you're placed on, you'll find some great people. - The PTO and benefits are excellent - The company has a younger developer culture. If you're fresh out of college and are offered a job by this company, take it, do your time, and if you want, look for a new opportunity.

Cons

- Some team leaders discussed inappropriate topics during our bi-weekly standups. - Team Managers are inconsistent with their communication if you're are performing well or not. - The code framework is old and not well maintained. The company does not enforce clean code practices as it stresses deadlines over quality. Majority of your time may be spent maintaining the old framework. - The documentation system is outdated.

Pros

You can make a lot of money if you are in the right territory and have a good client base that hasn’t been oversold by previous AMs. The training is very good and you will make good friends! The people they hire are smart and fun to be around

Cons

If there has been high turnover in your territory it will be hard to sell as the clients have products that have not been properly implemented and are likely gun shy to purchase. It will also depend how “over promised/under delivered” their experience with new business is. The work/life balance can, and probably will, become very toxic. You are on the road constantly if you have a travel heavy territory which makes it difficult to get admin work done during business hours. You will be working before and/or after work - probably on the weekends as well. Ask for transparency in your territory assignment. You want to know how far your furthest client is as you will have to go see them in person at some point

This is a performance-driven role with high expectations, and team members are given clear direction and the tools to succeed. Those who consistently deliver see meaningful rewards for the work they put in. Please share further feedback with your leader.
