Pros

-Work-life balance: One of the biggest pros is work-life balance with six-days on (three 12-hour day shifts, followed by three 12-hour night shifts), then six-days off. Great to be able to plan out vacations throughout the year. -Medical crews are very competent and a pleasure to work with. -401K match up to 5%.

Cons

-NO extra pay for any time worked past 12 hours: Most other helicopter air ambulance agencies pay pilots time and a half for overtime hours worked over a 12-hour shift. There is no extra pay past 12 hours and pilots routinely fly up to 14-hour shifts.

Pros

Works from home and PTO

Cons

Consistently adding more and new work assignments with no additional compensation or training causing much stress among the staff. Pay does not reflect importance and difficulty of the position.
