-One thing to note about these reviews for anyone considering a job at PS, most of the reviews are from temps, not people working in the PS offices. The temps are physically working at a client’s location and not within PS offices, just something to be aware of when looking at positive versus negative reviews.
-To the person who left a review a month ago commenting on the corporate employees, though you probably won’t see this: corporate’s non-management employees are also underpaid, and corporate takes so long to get things back to the branches because everyone is handling the workload of at least 2 people on average. Not all corporate employees work from home. The people that don’t have the option to be fully remote are not happy that there are corporate opportunities now being offered to new hires that are fully remote.
-Because there isn’t much PTO offered (specifically in your first year, it gets slightly better if you carry over days) and there are no additional “sick days" given, there are many instances where employees have to decide between taking a much-needed vacation or saving the days in case they are ill in the future. A lot of federal holidays are not given off as well.
-I felt like I was always working, extremely overwhelmed, always stressed. This job negatively affected my mental health; anxiety and panic attacks were quite regular – I never had these before working here. Work/life balance basically didn't exist. I wish I had been able to get out A LOT earlier.
