Pros

Mission statement stipulates treating staff and patients with dignity, respect. Embraces faith based principals to "do unto others as you would have done to you". More flexibility of schedule than with clinic or hospital. Relaxed work pace; lower stress environment.

Cons

LONG commutes to/from private homes. Was promised autonomy with hours to work; later was given hours of availability to chose from. Was assigned to a home with extreme unsanitary conditions! Had much difficulty being reassigned to another home without meeting some resistance from assignment coordinators. Some families disregard their contractual agreement with the company which is designed to prevent them from taking advantage of PDN (private duty nurse) for non-patient related duties (example: babysitting siblings of patient while parents step away.)
