Pros

Working at PTU has been amazing! I have been here for the last 4 years, and it has been so cool to see how much the company has grown in that short amount of time. Family always comes first, flexible schedules, great company morale, room for personal growth, some pretty killer work parties, amazing coworkers, everyone is made to feel special (especially on their birthdays/work anniversaries). I could go on and on! I feel so lucky to work at a place like PTU.

Cons

No cons are coming to mind.

Pros

Everyone cares about the patients and their co-workers. Collaboration with other therapists while sharing patients is fun and unique as you get to learn from each other and give the patient a more wholesome experience. 1 on 1 appointments allow for a more manageable caseload and and work-life balance.

Cons

There are no cons to working at PTU

Pros

I have worked at PTU for the past 4 years. I started out here as a new grad and the collaborative environment allowed my clinical reasoning to grow. The ability to talk through my clinical reasoning with other clinicians was extremely valuable when first coming out of school. PTU values patient care through 1 on 1 appointments and has the equipment needed to get our patients back to the activities they love. Since we are a private practice there are a lot of opportunities for growth and following your passion. Since my time here I have been able to create new programs and hold strength and conditioning classes for the community. Everyone at PTU has a growth mindset and we are always trying to improve our patient care through journal clubs, in-services, and brining in speakers. Not only is this a great place to work and grow as a clinician but I also have created get friendships with all of my co-workers.

Cons

It is a good sign that I am having trouble coming up with a con. The con I can think of has to do with insurance which would be the case in any insurance based physical therapy clinic and the owner of PTU has changed EMR systems to try to make documentation as easy as possible.
